ICC Profiles

Predictable Print Results

From a printing perspective, achieving a great print result relies on the quality of the printing device, it's calibration and in the creation of custom ICC profiles for specific paper types.  Box Imaging  creates custom ICC profiles for its preferred paper types. This level of in-house process control delivers optimal colour accuracy. Clients preparing files for printing at Box Imaging can avail of our printer/paper profiles for soft proofing purposes. To get accurate results from soft proofing a calibrated display monitor like an Eizo Colour Edge or BenQ is a great starting point. Box Imaging can provide clients with a test chart in both electronic and printed form in order to evaluate how accurate your monitor is when compared to the same chart in printed form.

Test Charts

Colour Chart For Evaluation

There are two test charts available. The colour checker lab chart is more suitable for Eizo monitor users who are accustomed to calibrating and profiling their own monitors. Order a test chart in both printed and electronic form to evaluate your display colour accuracy compared to the same chart printed onto one of Box Imaging's paper types. An example being If you are looking to have prints made on Hahnemühle Museum Etching you can order an A4 size chart printed onto this paper. From here you can open the corresponding file and compare your monitor to the printed version.
